Goiânia Airport hosted the second edition of the Aviation XP Centro-Oeste event, on the 29th and 30th of June. The choice of Goiás to hold the aviation fair, for the second time, is in line with the promising view of the aviation market for the state, the fourth largest aviation services hub in the country, behind only Mato Grosso, São Paulo and Rio Grande southern.
According to William Vaz de Alencar, air business manager at CCR Aeroportos, “Goiânia is a city with a lot of participation of executive flights, a percentage almost equal to the number of movements of domestic aviation”, stands out.
Aimed at all aviation segments, Aviation XP reinforces, once again, the strategic role of the capital of Goiás as one of the main poles and one of the most promising of general aviation for the country.
On the first day alone, around 1587 people showed up at Santa Genoveva Airport to check out the news that the business event brought to the region.
Among the main factors that drive the state of Goiás and the city of Goiânia to the optimistic view of the aviation market is its strategic geographic location, in the center of the country – and also the strength of agribusiness for the regional economy.
CCR Aeroportos played a key role in the event, as the Company stands out as the largest operator in of number of airports in the country; in a total of 16, with 2 dedicated exclusively to executive aviation.
Currently, CCR Aeroportos operates in its portfolio 100 contracts for private hangars and services related to executive aviation, which represents approximately 10% of the company's commercial contracts.
