GOL Airlines, started last night (21) the resumption of its direct flights to two of the most important cities in Argentina, Córdoba (COR) and Rosario (ROS), a return that continues today and will be completed in the next 28 and 29 from November.
Through the Company, the international airports of RIOgaleão (GIG) and Guarulhos (GRU) are once again able to communicate in nonstop operations with both municipalities in the interior of Argentina. GOL thus covers 100% of its destinations served in the neighboring country.
There are three round trips per week to Córdoba and Rosário, both from RIOgaleão and Guarulhos. GIG departures to COR take place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with return trips to the Rio de Janeiro capital on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
On 29/11, GOL will resume GIG flights to Rosário on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The return to Rio de Janeiro is on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
Today, Tuesday (22), GOL will start its operations to Córdoba from Guarulhos at 22:55 pm, always on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays – the return to São Paulo takes place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
On 28/11, it will be the turn to connect to Rosário also via Guarulhos: departures from São Paulo's international airport are on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with returns on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
All routes are operated by GOL with the modern Boeing 737-800 aircraft, which, in international configuration, has capacity for 176 engers. The flights are operated in codeshare with Aerolíneas Argentinas, facilitating connections for Argentineans from cities other than Córdoba and Rosario.
The flights that are being resumed present a differential in relation to what was offered by GOL before the pandemic.
Until March 2020, direct operations between the two Argentine cities and Brazil were only destined for the city of Rio de Janeiro. Now, both Córdoba and Rosário will be connected with Guarulhos non-stop, which allows Customers from different Brazilian and international cities easy access to the Argentine countryside, full of industries, agribusiness and tourist activities.
GOL's partnership with Aerolíneas Argentinas will also allow Argentine Customers from other cities in the interior of the country to reach Córdoba and Rosario and, with direct flights to Brazil, enjoy the extensive connectivity offered here through GOL's operations.
Argentine customers will also have an easier connection to other international flights operated by GOL and its partners, both in Guarulhos and RIOgaleão.
Cordoba and Rosario are destinations operated by GOL since 2006 and very traditional in the Argentine countryside. Córdoba brings together a harmonious blend of old and new, with its historic center, founded by Jesuits in the 17th century, and its more modern buildings. Rosário is bathed by the Paraná River and has several tourist attractions, such as the Rosário-Victoria bridge and the National Monument to the Flag.
“There are 16 years of connection between GOL and the cities of Córdoba and Rosario, whose flights were suspended only during the pandemic. Offering Customers in Brazil and Argentina again the possibility of connecting through our flights, as it was before 2020, is a reason for great satisfaction”, celebrates Luiz Teixeira, known as Tex, GOL's Commercial Manager for International Markets.
These flights allow the accrual and redemption of Smiles miles, GOL's complete travel platform and loyalty program.
“Smiles has the purpose of promoting human evolution through travel. In addition to redeeming tickets, Customers are able to accumulate qualifying miles for each route traveled – and this puts them closer to future experiences in Argentina”, says Rodrigo Possatto, director of Travel and Marketplace at Smiles.
GOL already flies between the airports of Guarulhos, RIOgaleão and Florianópolis (FLN) to Buenos Aires (AEP) since December 2021 and, to Mendoza (MDZ), from GRU, since June of this year.
With Córdoba and Rosário, the Company's Customers once again have direct connections available in Guarulhos to the same destinations offered in Argentina before the pandemic.
Córdoba-Florianópolis: summer route
In the period from January 2 to 31, 2023, due to the high season, GOL will offer the seasonal route Córdoba (COR)-Florianópolis (FLN), connecting the interior of Argentina directly to the capital of Santa Catarina, a traditionally very popular destination. sought after by Argentines at this time of year.
From Florianópolis, it is possible to easily discover the natural beauties of the entire coast of the state of Santa Catarina.
Between Córdoba and Florianópolis, there are three round trips per week in January: departures from the Argentine city take place on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, while, from Florianópolis, operations to Córdoba take place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. .
