as we already had reported here on the doorThe first edition of the 2021 Red Flag exercise has begun. And the setting for this first edition is the city of Las Vegas, in the state of Nevada, USA.
From Nellis Air Force Base, fighters, aircraft and bombers go out on t missions.

Among the participating aircraft are the F-16 Fighting Falcon, F-15E Eagle, F-22 Raptor, F-35A, EA-18G, A-10 Thunderbolt II, B-2 Spirit, B-1B Lancer, among others.
Nellis Air Force Base is a major highlight, where important fighter squadrons are located and the base is also home to the Thunderbirds, the USAF air demonstration team, which uses F-16 Fighting Falcon fighters.
During the year other editions of Red Flag will take place in different air bases throughout the USA.
“Red Flag offers participating units with different mission sets an opportunity to train together during a high strength live flight exercise and t interoperability”, said Senior Chief Sgt. Michael Consigny, Superintendent 414th CTS.
