Israel's retaliatory airstrike on Iran on October 26 showed Israel's efficiency by sending 100 aircraft and not causing any casualties. According to information from The Jerusalem Post, the Israeli Air Force (IAF) used the F-15, F-16 and F-35I fighters in the military mission, which flew over more than 2.000 km in response to the massive missile attack on the day October 1 by Iran.
The operation dubbed “Days of Regret” also involved three tanker planes, an AWACS spy plane and other aircraft for rescue and salvage.
“The attack destroyed all of Iran’s strategic defense capabilities. That is, all of its long-range anti-aircraft missile batteries.”, said the Israeli army.
With this, Israel sees the mission as having been successfully completed and that it does not intend to carry out new attacks.
Iran, for its part, said it will use “the tools available to provide a definitive and effective response to the Zionist regime”, it is not clear whether a new missile attack will be carried out.
Before the attack on Iran, Israel shared videos on social media showing the pilots' preparation before the attack, highlighting the role of women piloting fighter jets, in reference to restrictions on women's rights in Iran.
