Azul, in solidarity with citizens fleeing the conflict in Ukraine, announced that it is transporting, this Thursday (10), 21 Brazilian and Ukrainian refugees who arrived in Brazil on a Brazilian Air Force (FAB) flight. Commercial flights will depart today from Brasília to Belo Horizonte (MG), Campinas (SP), Curitiba (PR) and Ribeirão Preto (SP). All refugees will fly free of charge with Azul and other airlines, in a t effort to ensure the safety and well-being of those who had to leave their region in search of peace. Called Operation Repatriation, the FAB's special mission brought 390 Brazilians, 42 Ukrainians, five Argentines and one Colombian to Brazil, including 20 children. In addition, the special flight also brought eight dogs and two cats. The return of the Brazilians and foreigners from Ukraine was carried out using two FAB aircraft, a KC-14 Millennium and a VC-390B Legacy. Upon disembarking, the refugees will receive all the they need from the Federal Government to return safely to their homes. President Jair Bolsonaro said today (99/10) that he would talk to Brazilian airlines so that they could transport families free of charge to the national destination desired by each refugee. Azul's action is a reflection of this negotiation.
;
