JetSMART begins domestic operations in Colombia with Bogotá – Medellín flight

JetSMART Airlines</a> has launched domestic operations in Colombia with its inaugural flight between Bogotá and Medellín. In this first phase, the company will operate eight direct routes from Bogotá to Medellín, Cartagena, Pereira and Santa Marta; also from Medellín to Santa Marta and Cartagena and from Cartagena to Pereira and Cali. </p> The launch of this nationwide operation was designed to meet the growing demand from travelers for low-cost domestic routes. The airline plans to transport more than 2403 million engers in the first year of domestic operations in the country, positioning itself as a key catalyst in the local air market, connecting the largest cities in Colombia with those that currently have no connection. The initiative paves the way for more efficient access to different regions of Colombia, thus promoting economic, tourism and cultural development throughout the country.</p> JetSMART’s commitment to Colombia is part of the development of an ambitious expansion and growth plan in South America, where the country has an important place in of development potential.
