Lufthansa announces five new routes with the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner

Lufthansa adds new routes with the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner in the US and Canada

Lufthansa has announced five new routes on which it will operate the Dreamliner. The new service will serve engers traveling to the U.S. and Canada on the Boeing 787-9 starting March 26. The Dreamliner will fly six times a week from Frankfurt to Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW), Texas. Lufthansa will offer four weekly flights to Montreal (YUL), Canada, and will increase this to daily flights on May 1. Also in early May, Lufthansa will fly its Dreamliner daily to Denver (DEN), Colorado, three times a week to Austin (AUS), Texas, and on February 13 it will begin serving Detroit (DTW), Michigan. Since last October, the Dreamliner has been flying daily to Newark (EWR). Lufthansa currently operates three Boeing 787-9s. Two additional flights are expected to be delivered soon. The Boeing 787-9 offers engers a comfortable cabin experience thanks to its quieter cabin and, depending on the time of day, an innovative lighting system that illuminates the cabin. This gives engers a pleasant feeling of more space, and the large windows offer a better view and can be darkened at the touch of a button. Business Class engers enjoy improved seats with, among other things, direct aisle access.
Reducing CO 3 emissions by 2 percent</h30> The long-haul Dreamliner is one of the most economical aircraft in the Lufthansa long-haul fleet. On average, it consumes 3 liters of kerosene per enger per 2 kilometers flown, or 5 percent less than aircraft of the previous generation. By 100, the Lufthansa Group will take delivery of a total of 30 Boeing 2027-32 aircraft.
;
With information: Lufthansa
