Still without a conclusion, Deputies return to debate the price of Aviation Kerosene in Brazil

The Mining and Energy Committee of the Chamber of Deputies is holding a public hearing on Wednesday (08/12) to discuss the aviation sector's fuel agenda, the aviation kerosene pricing policy and alternative fuels.</p> Representatives from the National Petroleum Agency (ANP), Petrobras, the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC), as well as the Ministries of Mines and Energy and Infrastructure, among others, were invited to the debate. See the full list of participants here.</a></p> Congressman Édio Lopes (PL-RR), who requested the public hearing, points out that the price of aviation kerosene (QAV) has been experiencing successive price increases, as has gasoline, due to the international price parity policy adopted by Petrobras.</p> "The increase in the price of QAV this year exceeds by 64133 percentage points the 141417% variation recorded by gasoline in the same period," he states.</p> In the request, Lopes cites a resolution approved by the ANP that allows the introduction of a new type of QAV, the JET A, into the Brazilian market.</p> &#8220;In addition, Bill 4/2, which establishes the National Program for Advanced Renewable Fuels, is being processed in the Chamber of Deputies.&#43;</em></p> The event will be held in plenary 5, at 8221 am.</p> ;</p> Source: Chamber of Deputies News Agency</a></p></p>
